That wont help you get a six-pack....Unless you already have one underneath a layer of fat(which your planning to burn off). Do crunches and leg raises as well.

Sounds like you have an interesting start to gaining mass. But my question to you is, how long have you been doing this routiene? If you are continually doing the same routiene week after week after week, your body will be come adjusted to it and stop growing.
Your body is always in a constant state of checks and balances. It needs new stimulus to respond.
My suggestion to you would be to continue with your program, maybe change it a little in a few weeks (approximately every six weeks), just to "shock" the body.
Maybe start with "Up" pyramids and then go to "down" pyramids, then for a few weeks "compound movements".
You will see some improvement.
But as the other person who responded to this message said, Proper Nutrition is the key.
If your eating habits suck, so will your outcome.

Sounds pretty good and the health benefits of such a regimen are certain.

I work with an award winning personal trainer, so my biggest question is how many exercises you are doing per muscle group while lifting and how many sets/reps. As you probably know, a lot of a good workout is simply the right number of sets/reps on the right exercises. The magic number while lifting to increase strength, size, and stamina all at once, is 10. Find the perfect weight were the 10th REP is a serious challenge and you are on the right track.

Also, how many times a week are you doing this? And what diet are you following?

There are many different books and programs out there, I have tried a few myself, but there is one that I have totally fallen in love with. It's called the 7 minute muscle program, I found it surfing the net one day, at first I was sceptical since it does cost some money, but I found that the results are well worth it, and of course there is a money back guarantee if it doesn't work for you. All in all I have spent more money on protein shakes/bars in one month than I have on this program. I have been on this for two months now and I have lost weight, and toned my muscles too. Anyways I have rambled long enough here, try this site, www.7minmuscle.com
