This machine was the best health purchase in a long time. I am really happy with this. My husband and I put it together. It definitely takes two people and a couple of hours. The tool kit it comes with is complete so you really don’t need anything else to put it together. The guide was self explanitory and easy to follow. Its sturdy and great because my husband is a bigger guy and he can use it without squeaking and without feeling like he is going to break it. He also has bad knees and doesn’t find that this has any impact on them at all. We love our Schwinn 420 Elliptical! For the money it is excellent. Better than other brands at the same price. It’s heavy duty, smooth and quiet. Would have appreciated better user instructions for programming it, but we figured it out eventually.

Received the elliptical with some damage. Called Nautilus and they have sent the replacement parts freely. The elliptical as such works as expected from other reviews. Worth to have the unit for this low price.

The toughest part about assembling the unit was getting it up my two flights of stairs. We broke open the box on the main floor and moved it up a few pieces at a time. The directions were easy to understand and broken down into managable steps. There were a few labeling erros with the nuts and bolts but it was easy to tell what they meant by the pictures in the directions. It is a two person job but only takes about 90 minutes.

Reading other reviews caused me to buy this product. I hope this review does the same. Assembly was excellent. This is second product I have purchased where tools were with the product. However it took me a little longer to assemble. The finish product made that worth while. Performance was great and the wife and I enjoy exercising every day. I have an knee replacement and it reminds me when I was taking physical therapy. Just what the doctor ordered. I recommend that every body that requires this type of physcial therapy, purchase one of these. “By the way the fan works great”. Might want to place a TV in front of the bike and that will make 30 miniutes fly. Maybe it will encourage to go another 30 miniutes.

Nice bike, but how the heck do you program it?

Just got our 240. My husband assembled it with a little assistance from non-mechanically-talented me, and it’s nice. But I can’t figure out how to program it. Is there something in English that I can read that goes into detail about how to program it?

Does Everything I Expected

Setup took me about 90 minutes, but I was watching tv during the process, so I think it can be done in an hour. The only complaint I would have is that I wish that the packaging the hardware came in had the corresponsing letter codes that are used in the directions (used the wrong washers on one step and had to go back). Once complete, the bike feels very sturdy and the seat has no wobble.

So far I am beyond satisfied with the purchase. I ordered when Amazon was out of stock, but they got it 2 weeks earlier than they said they would, and I got the bike about 5 days later (Schwinn 240 Bike with free shipping).

Good Exercise Bike – Excellent Product

Bought it as a method to help recover from back surgery, and could not be happier. Just about everything contained in others reviews concerning poor assembly instructions and assembly difficulty were true. Take your time and you should be fine. I have about 20 rides on it and absolutely no problems.

The bicycle is incredibly easy and comfortable to ride and operate. Very quiet. I currently have it in my bedroom near the window and makes almost no noise at all. I often work out with a Kindle and it rests nicely on the stand in front of the computer screen.

Bike was delivered on time. However it was obvious by condition of box that something was going to be broken. Upon inspection of bike, area where box was smashed, bike wheel was broken. This however had nothing with the actual product as much as the company used for shipping. Once a replacement wheel was sent, the bike worked perfectly.

This bike is very easy to use and it is also very quite. I like to exercise early in the morning and I did not want to wake everyone up. it is easy to set up the controls and use them. My only complaint is that the power cord is very flimsy and not in a great spot – very easy to trip over. Overall, for the price, a nice piece of equipment. By the way, my husband assembled it in about 40 minutes and he did not have any problems.

Overall good bike – noisy seat

We bought the bike a couple of months ago. Overall we are pleased with the bike. If you are 6′ or over, your knees may hit the handlebars. And the seat…not to comfortable and sqweeks for most of the ride (no matter what size you are and no matter how tight you try to make it, the seat swivels). Except for the seat, the bike is a quiet ride. Now we need to order a new seat that will be comfortable and not noisy as the one that comes with the bike. Overall it is a good bike and exercise is a necessity.

We purchased this scooter as a Christmas gift after much internet searching and reviews from other purchasers. The scooter has performed as described by Razor. Our daughter is 10 and this scooter is ideal for that age. The Battery lasts as described by the manufacturer. It usually last 30-60 minutes and requires 8+ hours to fully charge. This is a week point of this product and of course we would like it to last longer and charge faster but it functions as described. After only 3 weeks of use the scooter is working as expected. We haven’t had it long enough to fully test the longevity of the battery, but my daughter likes it (65 lbs) and son too (120 lbs). They can ride effortlessly on it especially on flat ground. Our driveway is a slight incline (don’t know really how to measure it) and going up the driveway it is noticeable slower but still does the job. I have even ridden on it (190 lbs) up the driveway and it takes me up when the battery is charged good, just a little slower but not aggravating slow. For the price it is pretty cool. My ten year old son got this scooter for Christmas 2009 and he loves it. He takes it to Grandma’s house, I walk and he rides the scooter to the corner store. It goes perfect speed for someone his age. Although I havent had this product long I havent had any problems so far.

Santa brought this for our 8-year-old son – it was a big hit. He loves to motor around on it. When he takes a break, his mom (me) has been known to “steal” it for a moment or two. It’s really a great little scooter and lots of fun! The battery seems to last a long time (we’ve never had it run out yet, but being winter and cold, we’ve not spent really extended amounts of time on it).

Resistance stopped working after 4 months – Cheap Chinese Junk

The mechanism to provide resistance stopped working after 4 month. Now there is absolutely no resistance no matter what setting or resistance level. Only used 2-3 times a week. Made in China. Avoid.

Also, the heart rate monitor doesn’t seem accurate. It appears to jump around a lot. It has a recovery rate measurement, but it can jump from F6 to F3 in a day. Again, avoid.

The box which packaged the bike was very dirty with scratches all over. However, and thank goodness, the bike inside was not damaged at all. Very easy to set up and get it running. Very good bike and it worked just as I imagined it to work. Very quiet. The only complains were the monitor which was worthless, and the seat which could not stay in one place. You just couldn’t tighten the nuts to make the seat to stay in the position you wanted. Other than these 2 complains, the bike was rock solid. Very satisfied with Schwinn 10 Bike.

I am very happy with the purchase. It was easy to put together and I was riding it almost immediately. This was a GREAT price for this bike as I priced this very bike at two other locations (one being a “second hand” sports equipment store) and this price was far less. Plus i got free shipping AND no tax AND 6 months same as cash.

The bike itself is comfortable, has a good variety of programs and the seat is very comfortable. The bike rides VERY smoothly and quietly. My only slight negative would be that the screen can be difficult to read in the wrong light or low light. Other than that…a WINNER!

Poor Customer Service!

After unpacking the box which was brought by a special freight company, I ran into problems right away trying to fasten some of the parts together. It seems that the holes where certain screws were to be used seemed to have been tapped wrong(threads not all the way through or crooked)and I had to re-tap three or four just to get the parts to fit together! We’ve had the treadmill for a little over a week now and are really enjoying it. It seems to be sturdy and built well. We broke a piece of the machine on the first day of use, but the manufacturer offered to send it to us free of charge while I was fully prepared to pay for it.

The only issue we have is with the way the machine folds. It’s not perfectly flat so that the running board sticks out at an angle.

I received this treadmill a few days ago. I like it!! It has a lifetime motor and frame warranty which is great. I was sent the wrong instruction book, which told me there was only a 2-year motor warranty. Thankfully I followed up and learned it truly was a lifetime warranty. Buy Merit 735T Treadmill.

Other than multiple delivery problems – The machine is great. It took little more than an hour to unpack and assemble.Parts fit well with no surprises. Use a GOOD Phillips Screwdriver and follow the instruction book (easy to read-good pictures) We are 72 yr old seniors so this machine is perfect with it’s 7 programs and many manual capabilities. Be careful, some of the programmed workouts may be too much for some people (LIKE US). Sturdy and well built as it is, I don’t believe it is the answer for a young athlete but for anyone wanting a general purpose machine,this is it.  I sincerely recommend this product. Great buy and great value

I have had this treadmill for about a month now. I am trying to lose baby weight and husband is shedding his sympathy weight. he is about 250lbs which above the recommended 230lbs and it’s been just fine. He runs, joggs and walks on it everyday and it has not slow down or anything on it. We are even letting our great dane jogg on it like “dog whisperer” and she enjoys it very much.

One recommendation. When they deliver, they will call to set up a time. I had my neighbor let them in and had them put it directly in the bedroom. So don’t let them put it in your front entry because it will be a pain to move. and don’t set it up then try and get it in the door. Do everything where you plan to have it. My husband and I both use the treadmil. Its a little hard to move around on carpet (we keep it in our family room and push it to a corner when not using it). But other than that its pretty light for a treadmil, easy to fold up, and simple to use. No issues so far.
