I purchased this product for its versatility and cost and I’ve been pleased with both. I get a great workout on it and can move it easily anywhere in my house. I highly recommend it!!

After careful review, this was the unit I chose. I wanted something to put in front of my 55′ LCD TV and play my PS3 games while exercising. Did not have the space for a whole elliptical, and I needed my hands free anyway so one with the hand bars would be of no use.
I was surprised how heavy it is. Sturdier than I imagined. The plate that the roller blade rolls on is fairly heavy gauge metal. Looking at the photos, I had assumed it was plastic.
The exercising is fine, I am able to play my first-person shooters without guilt. The step range is small, 6 inches to be exact. The petal bars are 3 inches from the center, so the heel of the foot travels a 6-inch circle.
I noticed some people wrote that they had problems with the foot petal becoming progressively looser until it fell off. I carefully looked at how the petal is attached to the crank. It’s all metal, except for the bushing around the metal rod under the “heel” part of the pad. I suspect this thick plastic bushing is the culprit. I would assume with use it would get hot and wear away.
Luckily I had a can of silicone spray lubricant for my treadmill, this is safe to use with plastic. Most petroluem based grease or oil will degrade plastic. The silicone should extend the life. I also used it on the front roller wheels. I am going to re-apply it regularly, silicone is a good lubricant but it does not have much “staying power”.
We will see how it goes, I will update in the future.
Great little machine for the price

This is a pretty sweet deal…in my opinion it does the same thing as the ellipticals in the gym w/ the exception of the luxury features. this is a great investment if you don’t want to spend a ton of money and you actually have the time to use it (when you’re watching TV is a great time)
Not bad, but probably not for everyday

I first saw this mini elliptical featured on a popular shop at home channel and it peaked my interest. When researching it online, I ended up finding it for $20 cheaper on amazon with free shipping (YAY!) than had been shown on TV. AND the shipping was so incredibly fast! It was fairly easy to assemble (attaching rear stability bar, front base plate and pedals), and I was eager to get on it right away. The first thing I noticed was it takes a moment to catch your balance, but that wasn’t bad. The second thing I noticed was how smooth the motion really is. For an inexpensive piece of equipment, I was very surprised. The adjustable resistance worked well and I was starting to feel it in my muscles right away (and it gets the heart rate going)! The only aspect that bothered me a bit was that I almost tipped the machine over (while on it!). I’m only 5′2″, and not obese so I’m not sure why the machine was starting to lift on each side. They should have added another stability bar in the front because if someone does topple over with this, it could lead to serious ankle injury. After about 10 minutes on the machine, it started to squeak – not terribly, but even after spraying it with WD-40, it hasn’t stopped. Overall, I would recommend this for those days you can’t get to the gym, or if you want to watch some TV and unwind when you get home from work and still get in a workout (like I do!).
Worth the price

I read reviews before buying and decided to give it a try. As stated, the stride is shorter than a regular elliptical machine, but I think it is a nice machine for the money and I get my heartrate elevated and feel like I’ve had a cardio workout when finished. Hand weights can increase the cardio effects if you want more, but for the space-saving features and money spent, I found it worthwhile and would recommend it.
