comfort an issue

So I had the old Polar transmitter; the one where you couldn’t change the battery and other than the fact that you couldn’t change the battery, it was great. I would wear it and not even know it was there. When the battery died I debated whether to just replace it with the same thing or to go with this newer version that lets you change the battery when it dies. Seemed like the latter of the two was a better choice economically over the long run so I went with it. Having it is better than not having one at all but overall the comfort level is just not that great. I wish Polar would come up with one that is like the T-31(I think that is the name of the old one) but with the option of battery replacement! My two cents. Cheap Polar Wearlink 31 for sale.

Good product but will not hold much more than a year

I am using Polar HRM for more than 10 years. The new belt is by far much more convenient, however even if you will be very careful with it – never wash it in the washing machine, wash it in cold water by hand and keep it straight all the time it will wear-out within less than 2 years. According to Polar it should hold about a year on daily use. I would expect more for such a price.
