Nice bike, but how the heck do you program it?

Just got our 240. My husband assembled it with a little assistance from non-mechanically-talented me, and it’s nice. But I can’t figure out how to program it. Is there something in English that I can read that goes into detail about how to program it?
Does Everything I Expected

Setup took me about 90 minutes, but I was watching tv during the process, so I think it can be done in an hour. The only complaint I would have is that I wish that the packaging the hardware came in had the corresponsing letter codes that are used in the directions (used the wrong washers on one step and had to go back). Once complete, the bike feels very sturdy and the seat has no wobble.
So far I am beyond satisfied with the purchase. I ordered when Amazon was out of stock, but they got it 2 weeks earlier than they said they would, and I got the bike about 5 days later (Schwinn 240 Bike with free shipping).

Bought it as a method to help recover from back surgery, and could not be happier. Just about everything contained in others reviews concerning poor assembly instructions and assembly difficulty were true. Take your time and you should be fine. I have about 20 rides on it and absolutely no problems.
The bicycle is incredibly easy and comfortable to ride and operate. Very quiet. I currently have it in my bedroom near the window and makes almost no noise at all. I often work out with a Kindle and it rests nicely on the stand in front of the computer screen.
